All profits from both pieces will go to RAICES and ACLU, charities devoted to fighting government abuse and defending the rights of immigrants and refugees.
One night at the studio I switched on the news channel and tuned in to the live feed from the impeachment trial. All my tapes were set up and running, I decided to start recording and live looping what was being broadcasted with the machines and cassettes.
While recording, the loops got stuck on the phrase 'I'd have to think your answer would be no', referring to whether Americans were expecting it to be a fair trial. It was an eerie and ominous accident, or, as I'd like to see it, the echo of a thought that kept going on in my head.
